Calling all Teen Readers!
The Stellar Award wants teen readers to read, review and vote for their favourite Canadian titles on the stellaraward.ca website. The Stellar Book Award is B.C.’s only Teen Readers’ Choice Award. The “Stellar Season” runs from November to April, with voting in April and the announcement of the winners in May. The new season is announced each November. For more information on the Stellar Awards, check out the info here.
The books, both fiction and non-fiction, have been nominated and chosen by teens. The sometimes serious, sometimes controversial, sometimes full of wacky humour stories contain themes and issues that resonate with teens.
To Participate
To review and vote, you must be between the ages of 13 (by January 1, 2007) and 19 and have read and reviewed at least 5 of the books on the site. So get reading!
