The Tuesday Tell-All

At our Tuesday Tell-All, CWILL BC members answer questions about their lives, their work, and their interests. Members with their own blogs post links to their sites. Others answer directly in the comments section.

If you’d like to contribute, even if you’re not a CWILL BC member, please feel free to post a comment (or suggest a future question!). We’d love to hear your thoughts.

This week’s question:
How do you prepare for school presentations? Do you get stage fright?

  1. There was a time when I used to get nervous before a school visit, but now that I spend so much time presenting or “workshopping” with kids, I don’t ever get stage fright anymore. These days, I just get energized and excited. Kids are a great audience, because there’s a bit of a wild factor there…you never know quite what will happen, and I embrace that.

  2. Hi there again.
You sound so confident Lee Edward. I bet your workshops are great fun.
Tanya had me laughing again with her answer which she posted on her blog.
I haven’t been out there since a talk in 2005. But the question made me remember my first terrifying ‘reading’ experience.
I posted my answer on my blog.

Hmmm… I’m not quite to the “embracing” stage that Lee has reached. My neurotic preparation methods are posted here:
