Authors Like Us in New York City

Authors Like UsMy podcast partner (and fellow CWILLER) James McCann and I have just returned from our whirlwind tour in New York City, where we did some recording for the Authors Like Us podcast.

You’ll be able to check out many of our misadventures in our upcoming episodes, including how James and I continually got turned around and lost on the streets of New York, James’s quest to find the best “street meat” in Times Square, and of course our encounters with librarians, bloggers, authors, agents, editors, publishers, and . . . er, super villains, at Book Expo America—the biggest book conference in North America.

Lee Edward Fodi and James consort with a super villain.

Of course, it wasn’t all just work for Authors Like Us. On the last day of the show, I signed copies of my books, Kendra Kandlestar, at the Mom’s Choice Booth and James signed books of his new book, Flying Feet, at the Orca booth.

About Lee Edward Fodi

I'm a children's author, illustrator, and educator—or, as I like to think of myself, a daydreaming expert. When I'm not daydreaming myself, I teach kids how to do it. Yes, they might seem pretty good at it already, but in my experience, most of them haven't learned yet how to put it to good use. I'm the creator of the Kendra Kandlestar series and have illustrated books for other authors.
