The first Children’s Science Writer’s Festival, Celebrate Science: A BC Sciencefest took place at the Beaty Biodiversity Museum at UBC. The event was a fundraiser in support of the work of the Canadian Children’s Book Centre and was a science extravaganza for teachers, teacher-librarians, student teachers, public librarians, child care workers and parents.
