Saturday, May 7, 2011

Come on along! This is a free event for children aged 9 and up – and parents, writers and teachers!

Now’s your chance to hear Ted Staunton, TD Canadian Children’s Book Week touring author, creator of over 30 books! For more about his books, check out his website.

You will find picture books, the Morgan series for Grade 2 to 4 readers, the Dreadful Truth series of humorous looks at Canadian history, the junior novel Hope Springs a Leak, and YA sequels, Sounding Off and (new this year) Acting Up.

Meet BC authors and illustrators reading aloud and sharing their “best mess”— the process of creation unique to each one. If you are an aspiring writer, you will pick up some tips and techniques to get you going.
