Lovely lovely Toca Boca

Another thoughtful review on Warren Buckleitner’s Children’s Technology Review Youtube channel of an app by Toca Boca, a wonderful Swedish studio that makes let’s pretend apps for kids. My favourite is their Robot Lab. Today (April 2), in honour of Autism Awareness Day they are giving away Toca Store. If you’re wondering what apps have to do with autism, it appears that storybooks that children can interact with on the touch screen have been particularly successful in reaching autistic children. On April 5th they’re launching a new app called Toca Kitchen Monsters and also giving free downloads that day.
