Read a Story, Share a Book!

On May 8, 2012, Brian Deines, TD Canadian Children’s Book Week Touring Author, and Nancy Hundal, BC author and educator, will talk about the art of the picture book and the special relationships that exist between reader, story, and pictures.

Some of the books illustrated by Brian Deines include Bear on the Train, Skysisters, Songs of the North Wind, Caribou Song, Dragonfly Kites, Fox on the Ice and those written by Nancy Hundal — Camping, No.21, and Prairie Summer.

This free event is hosted by the Vancouver Children’s Literature Roundtable, Canada Council for the Arts, and Surrey Libraries.
