The Launch of THE CUL-DE-SAC KIDS!

The following is a guest post by writer Alison Acheson.

This past Wednesday, May 30, at Christianne’s Lyceum in Vancouver, I launched The Cul-de-Sac Kids, together with Caroline Woodward’s The Vi!age of Many Hats, and Susan Ketchen’s Grows That Way (the third in a wonderful trilogy).

It was an evening of fun and celebration, and the room was packed, every chair full and too many standing—sorry about that! Followed by good food and talk. Good to be indoors from the fierce rain. Thank you to all who braved it to drive through, and special thanks to the young folks who showed up and took part in the wacky contests: having photos taken by cul-de-sac signs and/or reading to an animal, or wearing a funny hat!
