Write With Kids

Librarian and CWILL BC writer Lois Peterson has created a lively Facebook page called Write With Kids — a place for writers, teachers, librarians, and literacy specialists to share information and resources about teaching kids and youth to write creatively.

The group has only been active for a few days and already discussions have ranged from how writers can make school visits more useful for kids and teachers, to writing contests for kids, to ways young writers can be encouraged to use personal stories as launching pads for fiction.

Interested? If you’re on Facebook, you can join the group here!
