Launch Pad

Carol Anne Shaw launches Hannah and the Salish Sea on Sunday, March 3, at the best little bookstore in the Cowichan Valley: Bucknucks Books, in Cobble Hill, BC.

Carol promises all sorts of booky amusements and some cool prizes. Goodies include a Hannah and the Salish Sea mug, a Hannah and the Salish Sea t-shirt, a 20-minute hawk walk at the Pacific Northwest Raptor Centre in Duncan, and copies of the book. There will also be a grand prize, a beautiful carved raven which captures “Jack” — a pivotal character in the Hannah series — perfectly! It was created by local sculptor/artisan Richard Shaw, and is crafted from maple with metal embellishments and polished to a beautiful sheen.

Thanks so much for the shout out and support. It’s really appreciated! If you can’t come to the launch, but would still like a crack at some prizes, just leave a comment on my blog and you’re in! http://www.carolanneshaw.com
