CWILL BC’s World Read Aloud Day at the Lyceum

By all accounts, the World Read Aloud Day event held on March 5 was a success. On the morning of, the president of CWILL B.C., Lori Sherritt-Fleming, gave an interview on CBC radio. Lori comes onto the show at around 1:12 Have a listen here:

As for the event itself, among the readers were authors Tiffany Stone, Max Tell, Cynthia Nugent, Heather Kellerhals, Silvana Goldemberg, Irene Watts, Darlene Foster, Lee Födi, Suzanne de Montigny, Kallie George, Robin Stevenson and Lori. Here are just a few of the highlights:

    A wonderful time was had by all. Even Ali Baba the camel enjoyed himself. An excellent interview Lori. May we never forget the importance of reading aloud. Our boss read to us from Stuart McLean’s Vinyl Cafe this year at the Christmas party. It was magical.Thanks for organizing this.
