Join us on Saturday October 18, 2014 for a delightful morning with Marie-Louise Gay, world-renowned illustrator and author of children’s books, the famous Stella and Sam books, and winner of many prestigious awards. Among those in Canada, the Elizabeth Mrazik-Cleaver Award, the Vicky Metcalf Award, the Marilyn Baillie Picture Book Award, the Amelia Howard Frances Gibbon Award, the Ruth and Sylvia Schwartz Award, the Prix Alvine-Bélisle, and Mr. Christie’s Book Award; as well she was short-listed twice for the Governor General’s Award. Internationally, she has been nominated for the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award and the Hans Christian Andersen Award.
