Stepping Stones, A Refugee Family’s Journey

Margriet Ruurs is launching her newest book Stepping Stones, A Refugee Family’s Journey, on Saturday October 8 at 1 PM at the Salt Spring Public Library. Published by Orca Book Publishers, this picture book was illustrated in rocks by Nizar Ali Badr, an artist living in Syria. Proceeds benefit Refugee Organizations.

On Saturday October 15, the book will be launched in Victoria, 2:30-4:30 pm at the Greater Victoria Public Library, Main Branch, in the Community Room.

Both launches will be a Welcome Tea for newly settled refugees.
