Voltaire said, “Writing is the painting of the voice.” The writing and telling of stories is essential to revealing who we are, where we come from and where we’re going. Come and paint a picture with your voice and fill the page with your stories this Sunday at the Brighouse Branch of the Richmond Public Library (7700 Minoru Gate Richmond). Join award winning author, Lori Sherritt-Fleming in a dynamic storytelling and writing workshop to celebrate Canada Culture Days!
This free interactive and hands-on workshop featuring storytelling games and a host of writing activities that will help you to weave a magical web of your own stories. Lori will engage you in the creative writing process, provide tips to inspire your craft, and help to celebrate your inner author! Event takes place on the main floor in the children’s section of the library from 2:30 to 3:30 pm. To find out more about Canada Culture Days, visit www.culturedays.ca
