Jocelyn Shipley’s first middle-grade novel, shatterproofShatterproof, was just published in the Orca Currents series for reluctant readers 10-14.

Nate gets talked into running a scam based on his resemblance to the teen star of the TV show Shatterproof. At first he just wants to make money for a new skateboard, but when he meets a girl he likes who believes everything he says, he has to make things right.

Jocelyn’s previous books include How to Tend a GraveSeraphina’s Circle and Getting a LifeHer work has been translated into many languages for Stabenfeldt’s GIRL:IT book clubs. More at:
