The BC Literary Council and the Lower Mainland International Literacy Association have asked Margriet Ruurs to talk about her latest book, Stepping Stones, A Refugee Family’s Journey, in celebration of Family Literacy Day:

Attendees will be invited to make a small voluntary donation to support a Syrian refugee family sponsored by Literacy Haida Gwaii.

If you wish, memberships to the International Literacy Association will be available on site with a special discount of $10.

This also entitles you to a British Columbia Literacy Council of the International Reading Association Membership.
