In other news, are any of you tempted by a contest in French? A Manitoba press, Les Éditions du Blé, has a contest until March 3: writing 150 words short stories (called “nouvelles” in French) for Western and Northern Canadian authors. They will print the 150 entries in French (on any topic for all audiences) in a book to celebrate 150th year of Canadian history, a maximum of three per author.
