Thank you for your interest in CWILL BC’s manuscript consultants. The authors listed below are happy to read and offer feedback on the manuscripts of both emerging and established writers. Please read through the list of authors below, explore the links provided, and decide which author is the best fit for your manuscript. Then write to the author to discuss the kind of feedback you’d like on your manuscript (for example, are you concerned about the structure, or the flow, or something else entirely?).
FEES
Consultants charge either on an hourly basis ($75/hour), or according to the following fee structure:
$200 for a 32-page picture book
$170 for up to ten manuscript pages of one work in any genre
$225 for up to 50 manuscript pages of one work (plus $2 per page thereafter)
Fees may be subject to HST.
MANUSCRIPT FORMAT
Please submit manuscripts double-spaced, with one-inch margins and in a single, 12-point font. Please remember to number the pages and include your name and the title of the text on each page. Also, do ask each author if he or she prefers to receive manuscripts by email or in hard copy.
Happy writing!
