My favourite event in the calendar of the Vancouver Children’s Literature Roundtable is their annual illustrator breakfast. On October 19, 2013 we will eat a lovely buffet breakfast, visit with fellow lovers of children’s books, and have the rare opportunity to hear a presentation each by the brilliant young illustrators Julie Flett and Julie Morstad.
While stylistically very different, each artist bring an incredibly rich vision and seriously loving intent to their illustrations for the young.
The two illustrators will then be joined in conversation with the wonderful author and storyteller Richard Van Camp.
